My name is Cassandra or Cassie or Casatino (or if we're at Starbucks then Cathy or Casey) Dagostino. I'm a public relations professional, writer, photographer, designer, social activist, and recent graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School and Maxwell School with a BA in Public Relations and Political Science.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, the greatest place on earth and home to Notorious RBG. I used to spend most of the year in Syracuse, NY, most definitely left my heart in Florence, Italy, and now am back home in NYC.
Currently, I'm working on strategic campaigns and media relations programs across a wide range of industries at Weber Shandwick. While drawing upon my love of news to identify what will resonate for each client, I have enthusiastically contributed to: a global consumer program to end the water crisis that launched at the World Economic Forum, fashion and beauty influencer campaigns, product launches, and brand partnerships with the Tribeca Film Festival. I've gained invaluable experience across these fields and built relationships with journalists in a variety of media verticals, including business, tech, fashion and beauty, food and beverage, and politics.
When I'm not at work or engrossed in the latest issue of The New Yorker, you can find me tweeting about the media and politics at @Casatino, promoting social and political reform, taking photos, playing sports, or reading books about/by my role models – funny and successful short women.
Currently: Brooklyn, NY
